About us
Together led by the Spirit into the Heart of Yeshua, discovering a community where streams can unite and hearts can abide.
Who We Are
A community of hearts in Messiah discovering our welcome in the community of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God.
What We Do
We gather streams.
We nurture unity.
We journey together into Christ.
Vision
A community rooted in the heart of Yeshua, where every stream in the Body of Messiah finds welcome, belonging, and shared life in the community we proclaim in 1 John 1:3—communion with the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit, and one another. We envision a community who embody Jesus’ longing for oneness (John 17), seeking to live the mystery of the one new man in Christ (Ephesians 2-3) and reflecting the body of the Messiah in which each member is honored and needed (1 Corinthians 12).
Mission
The Center of the Heart of Jesus (CHJ) exists to gather the streams of the body of Messiah—Messianic, Catholic, Orthodox, Reformed, Charismatic, and other communities in the Lord — so that we may journey together into deeper union with the heart of Yeshua. We nurture the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Eph 4) through shared prayer, heart‑formation, intentional community, and Spirit‑led dialogue. Our mission is to create safe, warm, and thoughtful spaces where believers can listen, celebrate, and grow together in Christ.
What We Practice
A patient journey — walking together into the heart of Yeshua with humility and trust
Shared discovery — learning how our traditions reveal the beauty and love of the divine communion of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Intentional community — journeying into deep, covenantal, relationally rooted belonging
Ecumenical dialogue — conversations formed by the Spirit and grounded in the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge
Ecumenical prayer — guided by a contemplative spirit, rooted deeply in God’s Word, and expressed through praise and worship that opens us to the Spirit’s abiding and leading. We seek to shape new community expressions of prayer that bear witness to the unity of Messiah and draw believers into a shared life of communion before the Father.
Spiritual support — using biblical counseling and spiritual direction to accompany believers in their different seasons of following the Lord.
Where We Serve
CHJ serves the Tucson and Southwest region, along with our wider online community, by creating spaces where believers can gather, pray, and grow in unity. We host gatherings, build collaborative partnerships, and sustain a living community for Scripture, dialogue, praise, and contemplative practices.
Today, we live out our mission through shared prayer, heart‑formation, and intentional community. We explore diverse perspectives through podcasting and support spiritual growth through biblical counseling and spiritual accompaniment—all grounded in our commitment to unity in Messiah. Our website serves as a resource for unity, while our ongoing relationship‑building and collaborative partnerships strengthen witness to the body of Christ.
